Please note discounts can again be stacked. Also note some have specific registration dates.

IMPORTANT:   the FY14 (July 2013 thru June 2014)  Safety Council rebate program includes

  1. employers who are not in the group rating program,
  2. group experience rated employers and
  3. employers in group retrospective program
Please note you must meet program eligibility requirements in order to receive your rebate.
The Medina Safety Council meets on the third Tuesday each month from 11:30am—1pm at
Weymouth Country Club.  Special seminars are planned quarterly.
The cost of membership in the Medina County Safety Council is $100 per year
(Waived for Greater Medina Chamber members) plus the $12 per person cost for lunch. 
Upcoming meeting topics include: Trucks & truck safety, Global Harmonization Systems, OSHA Update, Fire Prevention and much more. 
We also hold a Safety Vendors Showcase yearly in September.
Employers can increase safety awareness and receive a premium rebate by participating in the Medina Safety Council.  They can earn an additional discount for reductions in claims frequency and severity.  Complete information on the rebate program is on our web site www.medinacountysafetycouncil.com or on the Ohio BWC web site.     FY14 REBATE INFORMATION
Membership in the Medina County Safety Council is open to all businesses in the Medina County area, both large and small.    It is sponsored by the Division of Safety & Hygiene in cooperation with the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce.
