The Board of Directors of the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce has passed a resolution of support for the Medina County District Library’s renewal plus additional levy request.  The library is seeking to renew its current 1.25 mill funding and is seeking an additional 0.25 mills on the May 2 ballot.

The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce endorses this levy and recognizes the positive impact our library has on our community, Chamber members, local businesses and economy.
For example, the library provides:
  • Educational programs, including important skills in science and math
  • Large and small meeting facilities for nonprofits and businesses
  • Computer and internet access for job seekers
  • Community programming and popular events to promote literacy

The Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce supports the Medina County District Library’s tax renewal and additional funds request to provide for the educational, informational and recreational needs of Medina County residents
